This is a documentary about a circle of life; the life of a woman who has touched so many others and myself.

I lost a very good friend of mine. She took care of me as a mother when I first moved to California from Japan to go to college when I was 18. She was a big part of my life as I was a foreigner in this country and especially as I was growing up from my teenage days to my early twenties in America.

​

My American mother Rebecca Floyd past away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. She was a true friend and my American mother and one of the most beautiful women I've ever known in my life.

I got to know about her illness on Facebook and next day she was already gone. Thank Internet and Social Networking System for connecting people around me and letting me know what happened to my friend. On the other hand, I regret about my taking it for granted that we are just fine because we are all connected on Facebook. However because of SNS connecting us people on the screen, I don’t see them or talk to them in real life so much anymore. Now I'm not sure if this whole Internet communication made the distance between all my people and I closer.

This is a journey of a man finding out about life and true gift that Rebecca left him as he follows her paths and connect the circle of her life.
